Meribel Valley's Bikepark

In Meribel Valley, mountain biking has always been an activity, mainly to go around the trails in summer. But for a few years, it has become a real sport, with diverse disciplines such as cross-counrty or DH, whilst developing a new dimension with the rise of electric bikes. Meribel has managed to grasp those news trends to design a fantastic bikepark to suit everyone's taste, whatever their practice and level.

Today, Meribel's bike park features:

  • 11 DOWNHILL (DH) trails  (1 green, 2 blue, 4 red with a new one and 2 black) = 35km
  • 10 ENDURO trails (1 green, 2 blue, 3 red and 3 black) = 104 km
  • 4 CROSS-COUNTRY (XC) trails (1 green, 1 red and 1 black) = 26km
  • 3 Trails are dedicated for Electric Mountain Bikes
  • 1 Ludizone
  • 1 Pumptrack

Check out Meribel's bikepark map here and other information on their dedicated Facebook page.

The Bikepark is open to everyone but it is essential to be equipped with special gears. Wearing a helmet is a must-do, of course, but having a back protection, gloves, as well as knee and elbow pads are also highly recommanded.

Mountain bikes and protection gears can be rented in sport shops all around the valley.

Besides, if you are looking to discover Meribel bikepark safely, you can contact a mountain-bike school or take part in one of the mountain-bike outings organise to benefit from their recommandations and advice! MCF, La Trace verte and Oxygene bike schools are great school to have fun and improve!
